Westerville Dental Health
Westerville Dental Health was established over thirty years ago. Dr. Malik joined the practice in 1992, and became the sole proprietor in January 1998. The practice moved, in May 2005 to the present location. The office is conveniently located on the growing north side of Westerville just off State Route 3 (State Street) between New County Line Road and the Maxtown-Polaris connector.

What are your rights as a dental Patient?
At Westerville Dental Health, we want you to be aware of your rights. When you are in our office, we want you to feel comfortable. You have the right to see the dentist every time you receive dental treatment, to know in advance the type and estimated cost of your treatment, and to help you understand the advantages and disadvantages of each type of treatment we perform.
You should always expect dental team members to use infection controls, such as latex or synthetic gloves. You have the right to know the education and training of your dentist and his team; if you have any questions regarding laws and ethics that apply to our office, please let us know.

Patient Protection
To reduce the chance of cross-contamination of disease from patient to patient, and dental team to patient, we take important measures. All our dental team members wear face masks during active patient care to prevent the spread of infection; new gloves are also worn for every patient and disposed of immediately after their one and only use. Our dental equipment is heat sterilized in our autoclave after each patient visit. Many disposable items are used during dental treatment because they can not be effectively sterilized.

We at Westerville Dental Health are very conscious of the fact that health-threatening viruses, bacteria, and other conditions are constantly changing and evolving into new, sometimes more virulent strains. We are absolutely committed to intensive continuing education by which we remain current, informed, and capable of state-of-the-art patient protection.
Our practice proudly meets and exceeds all OSHA regulations for sterilization.

Our New Patient Experience
Once you have made the first telephone call, our staff will find a convenient appointment time for your schedule. As an adult new patient, we normally schedule a one-hour appointment involving all necessary dental radiographs and a comprehensive exam by Dr. Malik. We will then schedule follow-up appointments for future care, including your visit with our dental hygienist.

What if I have an emergency?
During our normal business hours, if you call with a dental problem, our staff will do everything we can to help you immediately, Likewise, if you have a scheduled appointment, and another patient is having an emergency, we will do our best to see you in a timely manner.
Dr. Malik is available for emergency care 24 hours a day. If a problem arises any time we are not seeing patients, there will be a telephone number listed on our voice mail system.

A word about financing
Our dental team wants you to be concerned with your dental health, not your finances. We understand the need for options that allow our patients to receive the dental treatment they need and want.

We offer a 10% discount on all procedures $250.00 or more that are paid in full at the time of service. In order to receive this discount, payment must be made by check, cash, or money order only. Also, any expected insurance payment will be for your reimbursement only.
As always, patients may pre-pay services
With services that require two or more visits, you may divide the total treatment cost into equal payments to be taken care of at each appointment.
Financing is available for up to twelve months with no interest through our finance company, American General. Please ask our business staff for more information.
Finally we expect our patients to take care of all expected co-pays and deductibles the day service is rendered unless arrangements are made before the appointment time.
For your convenience, we accept the following methods of payment: personal checks, money orders, cash, VISA, MasterCard, and Discover.
